Below is a list of website links for transportation to Manhattan from all the area airports, and to the school via public transportation. The subways and buses in New York run all night long, and everything is completely accessible by bus or subway.  Taxis and Ubers are everywhere, and walking provides great exercise and unmatched views of city scenes. Hunter College is located at 695 Park Avenue (entrance for Music Department facilities on 69 th Street) on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

SUBWAY

The 6 train (Lexington Avenue line) stops directly under the college at the 68th Street station. There is an entrance to the college in the subway station. Turn right upon exiting the turnstile and the entrance will be directly in front of you.

The music department facilities in Hunter North can be accessed from here, but the easiest entrance to Hunter North is from 69 th Street, between Lexington and Park Avenues.

You also can take the F train to the East 63rd Street and Lexington Avenue stop. After exiting the station, walk north on Lexington Avenue to East 69th Street. The college is located at the intersection of East 68th Street and Lexington Avenue. The easiest entrance to music department facilities in Hunter North is from 69 th Street, between Lexington and Park Avenues.

Also, nearby is the Q train, which stops at Lexington Ave. and 63 rd Street. If you miss that stop, the next stop – Second Avenue and 72 nd Street – also works.

Bus 

The crosstown M66 bus goes east on 68th Street, and west on 67th Street. Hunter College is located at the intersection of East 68th Street and Lexington Avenue.

The M98, M101, M102, and M103 buses go south on Lexington Avenue and north on Third Avenue. Hunter College is located at the intersection of East 68th Street and Lexington Avenue.
